Conceição do Rio Verde - MG
Our first social commitment was to invest in a low income children social project which engages directly 60 very poor and care needy children from 4 to 8 years old residents in Conceição do Rio Verde. Our project is funded exclusively by SolFin and its partners and respective families and administered directly by volunteer professionals linked to the local education system. Our project involves free distribution of new clothing, shoes, coats and pants for the winter, copybooks and other items to fully address the regular school material list. We also sponsor projects that help develop talents and provide for quality of life on a continuous basis for our sponsored children and their families.
SolFin is proud to sponsor a modest but touching and joyful Christmas for our sponsored children and their families. Now on its 14th edition, it became a reference in the town. On Christmas, over 200 boxes with food and gifts are freely distributed to the to our sponsored children and their families, but also to other families indicated by our sponsored children's families and residents among the most needy in the town, allowing all those families a Christmas with dignity.
Gaia Revida
Another project that we are very proud and honored to sponsor and actively participate is NGO Gaia Revida, an extraordinary institution founded by the human greatness of Mrs. Virginia Garcia de Souza and de dedication of Dr. Edmundo Barbosa da Silva, and exclusively dedicated to provide free psychological and emotional care to needy cancer patients, both children and adult. Founded 20 years ago, Gaia Revida has already provided support and care for over 2,000 patients in its premises located in São Paulo, São Francisco Xavier and Sorocaba.
